How does the Free plan work?

Sign up and get 5 pages to process, completely free with no credit card required. It's a great way to see how the tool works before committing.

How are pages counted?

Each page of a PDF bank statement counts as one page. For example, a 12-page bank statement uses 12 pages from your allowance. For the Pro plan, unused pages don't roll over to the next month.

What is the Set-Aside calculator?

After calculating your tax, the Set-Aside feature tells you exactly how much to save each month so you're ready for your tax bill. It factors in your next Payment on Account deadline too.

What are Payments on Account?

If your Self Assessment tax bill is over £1,000, HMRC requires you to make advance payments — 50% by 31 January and 50% by 31 July. Our tool estimates these amounts so you can plan ahead.

Can I use this to file my tax return?

AnyDayAnyTax is a tax calculator and preparation tool, not a filing tool. You can use it to understand your tax position, prepare your figures, and then file your Self Assessment through GOV.UK or your accountant.

Is my financial data secure?

Absolutely. We use a privacy-first approach: your bank statement data is processed and returned immediately, with no server-side storage by default. All data stays in your browser and is cleared when you close the tab. If you choose to save a session, it is stored securely in our encrypted database

What tax year does the calculator support?

We support the 2024/25 and 2025/26 UK tax years with accurate Income Tax bands, National Insurance Class 4 rates, and personal allowance calculations including tapering for high earners.

Do I need accounting software to use AnyDayAnyTax?

No. AnyDayAnyTax is a standalone tool. You can export your transactions in CSV format compatible with Xero, QuickBooks, and FreeAgent if you want to import them elsewhere.
